2017 Club Champs Age Group Results
The final weekend of the club champs went off like a storm. All swimmers were up for their events and swam amazingly. There was 99% of personal best times or equivalent. There were some more club records broken. The club champs has been awesome this year and the coaching team are looking forward to the rest of the season.

Lisa says “Amazing! Another good weekend at the club champs for the 200 IM and 200 free. We saw some very fast swimming with some head to head heats fighting for places. All swimmers swam big personal best times or were on personal best times. Yet again Adam, Ellis and Jason all broke club records, this time for the 200 IM. Well done to our swimmers, you are stars!” – Results
“ Last Sunday we kicked off the club champs with the 400 free and the 200 Butterfly. We saw some very brave swimmers competing in both events. The swimmers performed outstandingly well with a 99% improvement on their personal best times performing with some very good technique. This is an exciting start to the club champs. Newport Pagnell Swimming Club is steeped in history, dating back to 1896, making it not only an important part of the local community but also one of the oldest swimming club in Britain. The club train and teach at Middleton Pool, Newport Pagnell.
The club is Swim21 accredited, with a view that it’s really important to focus on developing swimmers to help them achieve their own personal goals.
The club’s “Stepping Stones” programme starts from as young as three years old and smooth progression is ensured for any swimmers who wish to continue to develop their techniques, through the Academy and ultimately the Age and Youth Squads. There are even Masters sessions for adults to participate and learn how to swim properly, whilst also keeping fit.
Focus is put on technique, cardiovascular and muscular endurance, flexibility and discipline delivered by experienced coaches.
NPSC is a friendly, family club with a competitive spirit for all swimmers from developing water confidence through to winning championships.
