Newport Pagnell Swimming Club is a friendly, family club with a competitive spirit for all swimmers from developing water confidence through to winning championships.
The Club is steeped in history, dating back to 1896, making it not only an important part of the local community but also one of the oldest swimming club in Britain. The club train and teach at Middleton Pool, Newport Pagnell.
NPSC is Swim21 accredited, with a view that it’s really important to focus on developing swimmers to help them achieve their own personal goals.
The club’s “Stepping Stones” programme starts from as young as three years old and smooth progression is ensured for any swimmers who wish to continue to develop their techniques, through the Academy and ultimately the Age and Youth Squads. There are even Masters sessions for adults to participate and learn how to swim properly, whilst also keeping fit.
Focus is put on technique, cardiovascular and muscular endurance, flexibility and discipline delivered by experienced coaches.
