Maintaining your Well Being throughout your training sessions is very important to our Coaching team and we have prepared some information to help you stay fit and healthy at all times, as well as allow you to prepare for race meets in the most appropriate way to maximise your performance.
The information is split into three important sections: Hydration, General Nutrition and Nutrition specifically focussed around pre and post training and competitions. We encourage all swimmers to read this information to ensure they always feel at their best.

Goals provide you with a target to work towards and if properly and clearly identified, can be used to measure performance and plan for improvements.
To help ensure that you achieve the maximum success for you, whatever your goals, we encourage all swimmers to complete a Swimmer Development Feedback Form, which will be held by the coaching team and used to assist you throughout the training sessions.

There are three different types of competition that you are likely to encounter when swimming for Newport Pagnell Swimming Club.
To help you to understand the differing requirements of these competitive events and ensure you are prepared for them in the right way, we have compiled a guide for each eventuality.
We encourage you to familiarise yourselves with them so that the swimmers will feel more comfortable on the day with how the events will run and ensure they have the right equipment with them on poolside.
